A bit of a poetry exercise
Small, fierce and loyal, an orc dachshund accompanies his master home.
He found her dog.
Then he found her body.
Someone was going to pay.
He shuffled like he'd been stabbed and didn't want anyone to know it.
Oh, I like this one!
Naked light bulb, her back turned to him, coat raining at door. Orc stomps by.
Hank stood, fired, and ducked again as the orc went limp and fell to the ground.
"They don't make doors like they usedta, which I like, 'cause I'm a door buster."
Orque and Dorque stomped home through the alleyway puddles, enjoying their walk.
He ran down the alleyway, his tusks gleaming in the fading daylight.
Orc is the meanest,
his dog the meanest wiener,
on the Gotham streets
"I'd only just begun to school that punk. Damn this daylight savings time!"
