I present a twenty-six-word story penned by yours truly. It was a writing exercise I found a while back and had some fun with. I think the final product is appropriate for May. It is Zombie Awareness Month after all.
The mission: Write a twenty-six-word story where every word begins with a different letter of the alphabet.

Alien bioengineers created drones; effective fighting grunts hailed intergalactically. Jaded killers left mankind nearly obliterated. Professors quietly recalculated solutions, tragically unleashing viral weapon X. Yes, zombies.
